Annette is a writer, comedian, and visual artist. A constant in Annette’s work is the exploration of the line between comedy and horror, as well as the intricacies of female power dynamics and sexuality.

Annette’s plays include Mercy, Mercy (The Barrow Group, The Brick), Faire (Ego Actus), and Bonesetter: a Tragislasher (Spicy Witch Productions). Her work has also been seen or developed with Barrington Stage Company, Edinburgh Fringe, the Samuel French OOB Festival, and further internationally. Her first musical, Choreomania!, has been a finalist for several residencies and has received numerous workshop productions.

Her satire has been published in McSweeney’s, The Broadway Beat, Weekly Humorist, Little Old Lady Comedy, and more. She is a writer/performer with Only Sketches About. Official PIT-izens, their popular stage show has been adapted into Only Sketches About Podcast, which can be found on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and iHeart Radio.

Recently, Annette made the pivot into visual arts. Her original tarot deck is an Etsy best-seller, and she further sells her digital artwork on Redbubble and Society6. With her background in comedy and playwriting, she is making strides into graphic novels and comics.
